It could be a traditional name in the family.

We might have read that? Anyway, we will continue to call him by first name only. :)

No I've never read it anywhere. I think if Stephen has a middle name it's probably a deepest dark secret, not to be revealed to anyone.

*g* It is likely in ciphers to the power of three times three. :)

Maybe Esteban? Even though that is just his name in Spanish. Or Catalan if you prefer ;-)

I guess so, or as alltoseek suggested "Etienne", but essentially Stephen Stephen Maturin does not really make sense. Shame we cannot ask Weir.

Might just be the initials of whoever made the prop!

[personal profile] esteven 2012-10-23 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
That would be shallow, wouldn't it, in a movie so given to correct details? *g*

Tea and scones?
feroxargentea: (Default)

[personal profile] feroxargentea 2012-10-23 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
But you could get away with it, because everyone would think, "Oh, the prop guy must know something we don't!" and then they'd go away and starting wondering, "Esteban, Eduardo...?" and nobody would know that it was really S[tuart] E[vans] from set design all along. It's foolproof!

Ooh yes please to the scones *holds out plate*

[personal profile] esteven 2012-10-23 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Logical, flawlessly logical!

*loades plate with scones and small bowls of cream and elderberry jam*
No tea?
*iz surprised*

I agree.

Might I have coffee with my scone, rather than tea? And plenty of jam and cream, of course.
